VAST Best Paper 2012
The highly innovative application of movement analysis methods developed at Fraunhofer IAIS to new application fields, in this case eye movement tracking used e.g. for usability studies, has been bestowed the Best Paper award of the 2012 IEEE VisWeek's VAST conference:

January 2008: We are organizing a workshop on GeoSpatial Visual Analytics at the GIScience conference in Utah, September 2008 and preparing a special issue of Cartography and GIScience (July 2009).
